True Humility: Beyond Words and Self-Denial

What does it truly mean to be humble? Many people believe that saying, “I am a small and worthless person” makes them humble. Some think that writing phrases like “I am your servant” or “I am your slave” in letters reflects true humility. But merely speaking or writing such words does not make one humble.

True humility means not letting ego interfere with our service. When we are willing to serve in any way, without considering our status or seeking recognition, that is real humility. It is not about lowering ourselves in words but about rising above ego in actions.

We do not become humble just by saying it—we must live humility through our selfless actions.
