In Geeta, Shri Krishna tells that there are three powerful forces which make the mind weak. Control anger and desire because lust, anger, and greed make our mind fickle, restless, weak, and insecure. Anger is just one letter short of being dangerous. Anger dulls our discretion, due to which we react rather than give thoughtful answers.
Once Gauranga Das Prabhu was giving a sermon in jail. When he asked if anyone wanted to ask any question, a prisoner raised his hand. When Prabhu Ji asked the jailor who he was, the jailor told that he had committed 12 murders. Prabhu Ji asked him that at such a young age he had committed so many crimes, he replied that when the demon of anger used to overpower me I could not understand anything, my mind would go blind but in jail I got the work of translating Bhagavad Gita in Braille and this has brought a lot of change in my life.
The meaning of this story is that no matter how big the problem is, if we follow the path of Bhagwad Gita then we get relief from all the problems. Control anger and desire through spiritual wisdom and achieve a peaceful and successful life.
Hare Krishna.
